[Divine Souls:4655] Avtar Vani Verse-91

THOU FORMLESS ONE [91]

Look, the human being composed of five elements consider themselves different from one another;

 Some call themselves Hindus, some Sikhs, some Christians and some call them selves Muslims.

Man's light of wisdom is veiled by the darkness of ignorance;

He is harping on the perverse melodies of religions and castes.

The world has become so ignorant that it cannot perceive the One who is so manifest;

The blind guide and the way-farers are unable to see even a pit.

The blind refuses to believe even if the lamp is indicates to him;

Avtar says, one cannot perceive God without meeting the True Master.

TU HI NIRANKAR [91]

Panj tattan de putle vekho, vakho vakh inshan bane;

Koi hindu te sikh isai koi ne musalman bane.

Ihdi mat de chanan utte, parda pai gae ratan de;

Rag avalle chhedi baithai, ih mazhaban te zatan de.

Ena bhuliai aj zamana partakh noon na pekh sakan;

Anhe agoo anhe pandhi, toya tak na vekh sakan.

Anhe noon je deeva dasiey, karda nahin itbar kade;

Kahe Avtar bina gur bhete, hunda nahin deedar kade.
