It is very difficult to get a True Master, who can impart Godly knowledge to you. And if you are blessed with such divine gift,
it is very difficult to keep it intact. And if you step it up constantly, you are a true member of the Family of True master.
Your path to ultimate 'goal' will be very smooth, for which you have come in this world. You will take others too along with you to that goal.
That way our family of truth seekers will increase day by day. And a day will be there when every body will know the Truth i.e. God.
And the Efforts of our True Master for establishing Universal Brotherhood will be successful.

Discourses of His Holiness Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj- STREAM OF THOUGHTS –Part III

 

Once Baba Avtar Singh Ji asked, "Who is your friend, the greatest friend? Who is your worst enemy?". Everybody expressed his own opinion. Somebody said that a friend in need is friend in deed. He helps us whenever he finds us in trouble. On the other hand, a person who creates hurdles in our way, tires to cause our downfall and spoils our image in the eyes of the world is our worst enemy. Baba Ji did not agree. He said, "Your best friend is the person who introduces you to Satguru, the True Master and he who shakes your faith in God is you worst enemy."

Saints! A saint (Gurmukh) is known by the fact that he becomes our true friend. He always strengthens our faith in God. He has praise for fellow saints. He always tells us that man is never perfect; only God, Nirankar is perfect. But what do we do? We treat others as inferior. We point out their shortcomings. On the other hand, we think we are complete, we are perfect. As soon as we believe this, we start criticising others. Contrary to this, when we go to the company of saints, we become modest. We start realising our shortcomings. We learn that we are not perfect because we have greed, we have anger, we tend to defame others. But in action we are perfect since we do not withhold somebody's payment; our dealings in business are neat and clean. However, we also learn that even this perfection of behaviour ends, if we do not give up criticising or defaming others, insulting others. A person who makes us realise these things is our real well-wisher; he is our favourite.

Who is called a saint (Gurmukh)? Who can be called a saint? In fact Gurmukh is a composite of two simple words Gur (the Master) and Mukh (face). The man who keeps his face towards his True Master or looks forward to Satguru for guidance in life is Gurmukh. And the person who goes by what his own mind (Mana) wants or says, is Manmukh. Not to cheat others, not to deceive others, not to usurp what rightfully belongs to others, not to indulge in telling lies- these are the signs to recognise a saint, a Gurmukh.

In fact, it is man's own attitude or behaviour that makes him Gurmukh or Manmukh i.e. saintly or unsaintly. For example, we use fire for cooking. We prepare tasty and sumptuous dishes. This is its right use. But the same fire is used to burn Somebody's house also. Similarly, wind blows, drives the clouds away from us and we suffer in the heat of the sun. But the same wind may bring the clouds over us and it may rain and make us happy. Similarly, the company of the non-believers of God takes us away from happiness. But when we start believing in Truth, we get peace.

2125 PM : left from Southhall station, planning to collect jacket from Hayes bhawan. This train will arrive hayes at 2132 , and i need to catch 2232 train (probably the last train) from hayes.

(On my journey thinking of meeting Ravi ji (don't know how and why), Sunil.ahm.uk ji , collect some stuff from Karan ji , spend some time with professor uncle) .. One hour and lot to do :)

anyway, went to taxi stand... thank god he asked too much and i dropped the idea and thought of using my oyster on bus.

2140 : took bus to bhawan .. on my way called sunil ji to see if i can get his company while walking to and fro from bhwan .. no answer . ok no worries.. by this time completly forgot my initial thoughts.

2200 : reached bhawan ..had blessings from  professor uncle (job 1 done) , took jacket and was planning to run to catch bus now.. and what is this... Ravi ji in bhawan !!! .. His plans .. Ravi ji came to bhawan (job 2 done) to collect some gold bangles which nirmit ji lost during bal samagam. requested Ravi ji to drop me off to station. here Ravi ji told me that before that he needs to go to meet Sunil ji to handover the keys .. What more can you expect now ..

2210: reached Sunil ji's place.. was sleeping but woke up due to noise ..had blessings from sunil ji as well ( job 3 done) ..

2215: left sunil ji's place...was not sure if i should ask, but requested Ravi ji if we can meet Karan ji in our way.. and first time i saw Ravi ji driving like michael schumacher..

2225: Met Karan ji (job 4 done).. had blessings & stuff from Karan ji .. and drove to Station..

2231: at station .. Seems train only waiting for me..

No wonder this was one of those 'one hours' that i will never forget...

Thanks for all the Participants to give me this blessed hour. and thanks to Atit ji whose 'ghat' was used to create this wonderful situation.. And Special thanks to my murshid who was/is/will be showing me his amazing ways to plan and execute which are defiantly beyond any intellect.

Keep blessing this humble child with your company in any recognizable (for me at least) form.

I feel bleesed that i m a part of nirankari family.we all should be thankful to babaji.I would like to share a small experience.2,3 yrs back in my usual routine,i was going to attend my coaching classes by rikshaw.while going as I was doing simran,an ambulance passed by and a person shouted from ambulanceto my rikshaw wala"your rikshaw's tyre is getting out.The same time he stopped rikshaw and what we saw that the tyre was totally going to broke.It may lead to an accident also.I realized that it was his blessings that was taking care of me.I thanked to nirankar that nothing went wrong and i was thinking that babaji alwyz help us,he forgive us for our mistakes and accept us the way we are.I believe,wat babaji is giving us is invaluable.But still we continue doing mistakes and ask him to forgive us and thus we are living.When we are in satsang we feel gud by listening experiences of various mahapursh...after sometime we do remember those words but when it comes to our life we just forget everything.
we should not just listen those words...we must imply them in our day to day life.watever we do we should alwyz remember Nirankar.we should remember that he is watching us all the time.Today we proudly say that we are the devotees of His Holiness satguru babaji,we all must try to make our deeds gud so that Babaji can proudly say that they are my devotees.At last I just want to say ''Marham yadi hum ban na sanke,to zakhmo par na namak lagaye
fool beecha na paye beshak,raho par na shool beechaye"

The more we think of it, the more we become grateful and that's how we develop devotion. We should never forget, what we got, God's knowledge, a golden gift. May every human being fulfill the principal aim of life by realizing God? Let's live the kind of life that will make everybody love me, and I will love them, if this happens in your life you will know that you are growing spiritually. Let's be remain the embodiment of happiness and love".   "We still need to realize that there is somebody with us, always who is caring for us, every minute, who loves us every minute, this Nirankar!!!!! Remember this Lord every time."                                   These were the words of Wisdom, bestowed on us by Rev Rajkaviji.  Rev Rajkaviji blessed Texas and Congregations were held in Dallas and Houston. Community people and saints attended the congregation held at Hare Krishna center on June19, 2009. It was a great event.  Saints,  these spiritual souls come with special blessings and we are thankful to His Holiness for giving us such an opportunity. This Journey was very inspiring. This world, it is said, is full of sorrows. But saints also lived in this very world. Whenever they appeared on this earth, whether in this country or elsewhere, they found the same kind of situation, the same kind of complications of  worldly attachments. They found armies of every country fighting wars like this. They found people having the same attitude towards living. Everything was like this and the saints also lived in their midst. But with them there was a difference. When this boat of human body moves on the surface of water, it is welcome, but when water enters the boat, as we know, it brings trouble. The saints do live in this world, but they do not permit it to enter their minds.

The saints live in this world just like any other people. But the difference, as stated above, is that of the boat in the water and water in the boat. An unenlightened person lives in this world and his mind is also occupied by this world all the time. A saint too lives in this world, but he does not allow it to occupy his minds. He puts this Almighty Nirankar there. And this is the biggest reason of his happiness, the most important secret of his joy.

In fact this difference between a saint (Gurmukh) and an ignorant person (Manmukh) is that the latter is always attached to the worldly materials. He forgets God and is influenced by ego. Even a small little power makes him arrogant and he indulges in deeds that drift him away from God. No doubt, he does not preach that people should give up their devotion to God and run after the worldly materials, But his actions will tend to create a distance between God and ourselves. That is why saints always advise us to avoid the nature and company of the ignorant as they always shake our faith in the Almighty……. to be continued….

Dhan Nirankar JI,   Vivek Shauq ji once gave a beautiful example of a stone under the fountain.   If that stone which is being washed by water cosntantly thinks that I am soooo clean and do not get any dust on me then switch off the flow of water for few minutes and see if it gets dust or not.   Similarly when we live in materialistic world (Maya) these things tent to effect us but if we come back to our flow of water which is sadhsangat or remember that very moment that this is not what is expected out of me then slowly these small small issues will vanish. And we will become like the stone under the water which constantly gets washed.   Anything which takes us away from the preachings of our lord master is Maya and it is natuarl to have such feelings. We too had this question in mind and it has been beautifully explained by our very own Rev. Joginder S. Puri.

our answer lies in this line : "As per the very first basic principle of our Mission, if we just see all our possessions. Including our physical body and mind, as a trust from God, we shall not be overly upset as these come and go."

 If we give a deeper meaning to the word "these"; it means all our relationships also. Hence all these relationships are not going to stay long and if we keep our expectation level very high from them then we'll keep crying the whole life in human form.

 And then Prof. ji says further: "If we keep on identifying ourselves with the body

rather than the soul, this craze for worldly desires shall never lead us to real happiness."

When we say expect less means, revise this chapter by attending more and more congregations that these relationships are created by chance, that we are one family, we are friends, we are children, husband or wife, they will disconnect anytime. We need to prepare ourselves for that time when our soul will also leave this body

happily.

 Just like when a  girl gets married, she and her family (relationships) are apprehensive about her in-laws. They fear, what kind of treatment will she get, is she happy or not… etc.

But on the other hand, if she already shares a good relationship with the new family, everyone is at ease (the girl and relatives). The parents of the girl love her immensely but their expectations from the girl are zero as they know that she'll leave this home one day. Similarly lowering of the expectation level is very much doable.

 Similarly when a baby leaves mother's womb, he/she cries to the fullest of its voice, and later the baby realizes that mama's womb was not the permanent place. Umbilical cord had to be disconnected to give me a better place to live in. So saints, babaji is teaching us that while living in this world we should make a connection with the only home (nirankar). This will lead to a happy exit from this temporary world.

Dear & Loving Saints

Dhan Nirankar JI in your Lotus Feet.

 

With the blessings of BABAJI and SADHSANGAT, this Dasi is picked and placed where she belongs. i truly am content where i am and am getting more than i deserve in terms of love and satisfaction from everyone in this world as my family now.

 

'Babajis teachings as even explained by my missionary friend, mahapursh that one should have detached attachment. '

While i am practising Sabr, Contentment and shukrana bhav as BABAJI teaches and also Surrenderism where i am not worried at all about the end result in all that comes my way. Though i am not fully living but surely am practising it with full will and conscious. i many a times get stuck at one point "attachment" Expecting little things from loved ones (eg. reciprocals) and when that is not fulfilled i for some moments forget all that i have learnt and than have to make myself remember of all the above teachings. Please help me understand and live the detached attachment way what BABAJI wants me to live. Please do correct me where i am wrong.

 

Thank you and i truly apologize if my question is not relevant to our spiritual mission. i am just confused. Please bless this dasi with all your qualities, please bless me to become exactly what BABAJI wants me to become. i fully surrender myself, please guide me.

[Divine Souls:3947] Blessings from Arun Aluwalia ji in Houston

Rev Saints Dhan Nirankarjee!!!! Houston. Texas was honored by the arrival of Rev Arun Aluwalia ji from New York. There was a Big  congregation on June 7, 2009 where not only nirankari saints but also the Hindu and Muslim community members of Houston city had come to attend satsang at the Radakrishna temple.Saints from Dallas also graced the occasion. Rev. Aluwalia ji enlightened us by throwing light on the importance of God's realization. People were highly impressed with Nirankari Mission's philosophy and developed a new perspective for Mission. The event was a great  success. People showed their spirit and enthusiasim in the question answers session about Karma and Spirituality.  Rev Aluwalia ji focused on the need of knowing God. He said that, "Life is a battlefield and we all  have to play our roles,and  summon the forces of life to take part in a new drama of action, of service and sacrifice on the battlefield of this life.Let's attach ourselves to God and get the spiritulal experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude. Entering the door of the Guru is Guru’s Grace! Once you have come to His door you have come to heaven. Just as the water flows towards the pit (lower level) the Grace is ever flowing but it is directly proportionate to our love, affection and faith in the Guru.
