[Divine Souls:4253] Re: seek advise on sewa

We must understand, what Sewa is? There is a big cloud in our mind
about Sewa.Sewa is not only limited to inviting few saints in the
house, serving them foods, giving them gifts or preparing
lungar,cleaning the Sat-Sang bhawan ect. According to all the Holy
scriptures and the teachings of our Sat-Guru we must serve the
humanity at large. Serve those who needed the most. Feed the hungary,
help the helpless people. Give the gift to those who does not have any
thing. Its not limited only to the member of our mission family but
to all those since the whole world belongs to us.
Thanks

[Divine Souls:4255] MASTER'S DIVINE SOUP FOR EVERY SOUL

                          Growing in Faith

 "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God"

                                                                          (BIBLE)

Did you know that our faith in God  and Sat-Guru can grow and increase every single day? The Holy Scripture doesn't say, "Faith comes because you have heard the Word of God one time." No, it says that "faith comes by hearing"–in the present tense.

Sure, God's Word can transform us in an instant; but most of the time, we need to hear God's principles over and over again before they become active in our lives. God's truth sets us free and puts His plan for our lives into motion. As we study the Word of Sat-Guru and God, it chisels away at the doubt and unbelief that's been built up over the years. And, just as a seed needs water to grow daily; our spirit needs the Word of God daily. The more we hear Sat-Guru and God's promises, the more we know Him, and the more confidence we will have to believe His word.

Now Sat-Guru says:-

I encourage you to choose a few verses to meditate on daily. Write them down and carry them in your purse or wallet. The more you hear the Word of God (Sat-Guru), the more your faith will grow, and you will move forward in the freedom and victory He has for you!

Let's ask in prayer from our beloved Sat-Guru-

Our dear Sat-Guru and God the "Father, thank You for Your Word that is living and active and growing in my life. I submit myself to You today. Teach me Your ways and give me insight into Your Word so that I may know You. In

[Divine Souls:4252] Radio Rohaniyat

Dhan Nirankar ji,
Enclosed is the message given on today's Rohaniyat.
The content in this radio program is usually taken from the mission's teachings from sangats, vichaars, emails etc. and then is generalized for the general public's understanding and listernership.
It is aired on Saturday mornings at 10 am Eastern standard time, in the South Florida area of USA. Out of coverage areas world wide: www.whsrradio.com and then click on "Listen Live" .

-Humbly,
Preet Sahi
Florida, USA

There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She told her boyfriend, 'If I could only see the world, I will marry you.' One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend.
He asked her, 'Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?' The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn't expected that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry him.
Her boyfriend left in tears and days later wrote a note to her saying: 'Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before they were yours, they were mine.'
This is how the human brain often works when our status changes.
Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who was always by their side in the most painful situations. Life Is a Gift. Today before you say an unkind word - Think of someone who can't speak. Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat.
Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's crying out to GOD for a companion. Today before you complain about life - Think of someone who went too early to heaven. Before whining about the distance you drive Think of someone who walks the same distance on their feet. And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job.
And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on your face and think: you're alive and still around.

Why do people treat each other like they do? Is it all conditioning, or is there something in man that makes him willing to go astray? It is both. His heart longs for love, but his conditioned mind prevents him from love. This is the problem. A child is born with a heart that longs for love, but he is also born with a brain that can be conditioned.

The heart cannot be made into a soldier. It can become a poet, it can become a singer, it can become a dancer, but it cannot become a soldier. It can suffer for its individuality, it can die for its individuality and freedom, but it cannot be enslaved. That is the state of the heart. The child comes with an empty brain, just a mechanism, which you can arrange the way you want. It will learn the language you teach, it will learn the religion you teach, and it will learn the morality you teach. It is simply a computer; you just feed it with information. And every society takes care to make the mind stronger so that if there is any conflict between heart and mind, the mind is going to win. But every victory of the mind over the heart is a misery. It is a victory over your nature, over your being — over you — by others. And they have cultivated your mind to serve their purpose.

Don't become a slave to your mind. Let your mind serve YOU.

It is human nature to always compete with one another. We compete at work, always trying to prove to be better. We compete in our life style; we compete in how we look. Be it any area in life, we are ALWAYS competing. Little do we realize that the amount of time and energy we put in competing, if we were to put that towards Harmony, we would be creating a heaven on earth. There is no competition in Harmony, and you can create harmony ONLY if you have the capacity to be humble. It is only the humble, who will not compete, because when we compete, our focus is to let the other person down. When we live in Harmony, we are willing to compromise with others.  If you focus on the word: HAR-MONY, in the Punjabi language, HAR means losing, and MUNNI means acceptance. It is only when you accept defeat, that you can create harmony. If you are constantly trying to win, you are constantly trying to compete. Why is there so much desire to compete and win in this world???? Nothing more than the fact that we are merely trying to feed our ego. We need to win because we have to feed our ego. If we have no ego, we don't feel the need to win. Our perspective changes from looking good by superficial winning, to looking good by creating a pure and spiritual heart and mind. Sure, it is not easy to give up your ego in a simple process of 1,2,3….But for that, always turn to God to bless you with the wisdom to be able to change.

 Always Pray.  Prayer connects you with the spiritual power, and it builds up your inner strength.  When you have concrete faith that God is with you and loves you and cares for you, you will be blessed with the certainty that someone else is helping you--and that is a wonderful confidence-builder.

[Divine Souls:4249] Re: seek advise on sewa

Dhan Nirankar ji,
santo according to my understanding whith your blessings, 'Vadh chad ke' means whatever sewa you were doing before, may be you were doing it as thinking that it is your duty towards your family members or to your neighbourhood. But after attaining the divine knowledge you have to see almighty Nirankar in each person no matter whether he is your family members, your friend, a strenger or an enemy. with the vision of 'Na ko berry na begana sakal sang humko ban aayi' you have to serve everyone with more devotion, love and shradha (humbleness). It is not necessory that you have to spend some more time, effort or wealth, whatever you serve with your devoted body,mind and wealth and with Nishkam Bhav. Even you just be at your daily work but you heartiest payer for everyone also is a great sewa, to please others is your sewa.

[Divine Souls:4247] MATER'S DIVINE SOUP FOR EVERY SOUL

MASTER'S DIVINE SOUP FOR EVERY SOUL
The  teachings of our Sat-Guru Empowers Believers

Our Sat-Guru and God has called us to live a supernatural life--one that is contrary to the world's thinking. In our own strength, it is hard to say no to ungodliness because our flesh yearns to say yes. To live the Lord's way takes His divine power. In order to draw on His strength, we need to develop attitudes of humility, trust, and perseverance.
Nirankar(God) opposes the proud, who think, I can do this myself. He pours out His strength to the ones who know that they cannot accomplish the goal but believe that He can do so through them. The Lord(Sat-Guru) wants us to trust Him. He may at times ask us to remain in an uncomfortable situation or take on a task that seems far beyond our capability. In either circumstance, relying on Him will bring us the inner fortitude to choose His way.
When we feel too weak to resist temptation or too fearful to pursue the Lord's plan, we must persevere in prayer. That will draw us closer to Him, build our faith, and invite Him to work His will in and through us. Then, as we praise our Sat-Guru and God   for His almighty nature, proclaim His sufficiency for every circumstance, and declare His goodness, His Spirit (power) will help us move past our weaknesses and fears to a place of strength.
Today the our Sat-Guru is experiencing a lack of spiritual power in us. Believers have a diminishing influence on our culture as our lives often reflect the world's values. To turn this around, we need to cooperate with the sanctifying work of our Sat-Guru. He will empower us when we do.

[Divine Souls:4244] Avtar Bani Verse 47

THOU FORMLESS ONE [47]

God was the Supreme Master in the beginning and God shall remain the Supreme Master even at the end;

One who does not love God is devoid of sense.

Men clad in the human cloak behave like beasts;

Led by devils, they cheat others day and night.

Though wearing the saffron clothes (ascetics by appearance), their minds continue to be polluted by allurement of material wealth;

Obsessed by ego, they consider themselves superior to all.

They are seen meditating, telling beads and taking bath at places of pilgrimage;

The dog of greed sits in their hearts and keeps on barking and troubling them.

The fire of lust keeps on erupting in their hearts, even though they do besmear ashes on their bodies;

They wish to swim across the ocean (of materialism) while holding a stone by the neck.

But, the one who has met the perfect True Master, he dwells in God;

Avtar says, listen O' saints, such a person is immersed in Truth.

EK TU HI NIRANKAR [47]

Avval vi rabb malik ae te aakhir vi rabb vali ae,

Jis noo rabb naal pyar nahin ae soch samajh to khali ae,

Swang bharan insana de te kamm karan haiwana de,

Thagiya dinn te raat karan paye peeche lagg shaitaana de,

Kapade bhavein geroo rang laye mann vich maili maya ae,

Aap noo sabh to uchha jaane dil hankar samaya ae,

Dhayan lagaye mala phere teerath da ishnaan kare,

Hiras da kutta dil vich baitha bhaunke te halkan kare,

Agg kaam di dil vich bhadke ang bhabhoot ramayi ae,

Sagar tar ke langhna chauhande gal vich sil latkayi ae,

Jis noo poora saadhu milya dera rabb vich laya ae…

Kahe avtar suno re santo auho sach samaya ae…

[Divine Souls:4238] Avtar Vani verse 46

THOU FORMLESS ONE [46]

For the poor Thou art the wealth and Thy Name is his treasure;
For the one who is shelterless, Thy name is the final shelter.
For the man who is humble and meek, Thou art the pride for him;
The whole world receive from Thee, Thou art the Supreme Donor.
Thou art the Doer behind every action and Thou art the Supreme Lord;
Thou art aware of what is in everybody's heart,only Thou art omniscient.
God Himself alone knows His state of existence and His boundary;
One can recognize Him only if He Himself so wills.
O' God, it is not possible for the me to praise, to glorify Thee;
Avtar says, it is all the grace of the True Master, I am not worthy of anything.

IK TU HI NIRANKAR [46]

Nirdhan ka dhan toonhion data, mal khazana naam tera;
Jis be-ghar da ghar na hove, thaur thikana naam tera.
Jis bande vich maan nahin koi, ose da hi maan eyn toon;
Har karaz da karta toonhi, malak ap swami eyn;
Sabh de dil di janan wala, toonhion antaryami eyn.
Apane hal te apni had noon, ape hi ih jaan sake;
Apni ihdi marzi hove,tan koi pehchan sake,
Sift shalagha karni teri mere vass da rog nahin;
Ih Avtar guru di bakhshish, main te kise vi yog nahin.

[Divine Souls:4235] Divine Messages Service

Divine Messages for the week:

1) Is baar bhi diwali ka wahi manzar tha, bahar to deep jalaye humne, andar magar andhera hi raha. (16-10-09)

     Let us all light the lamp of love in our hearts.

2) Apne gharo se ujadh kar dusro ka ghar basate hain, phool phir bhi muskuraate hain (01-06-08)

    Flowers although plucked and used to decorate others' homes, they still continue to spread happiness and fragrance. The sacrifice counts.

3) Bhakt ki icchayein to hoti hain, par bhakt ki bhakti ki iccha sab se zyaada hoti hain, kunki agar mukh suraj ki taraf ho, tabhi chehra chamakta hain

    The strongest desire of a devotee amongst others, is of devotion. As if we face the sun, only then will our faces glow.

4) Bhakt yahi manta hain, ki nuksan kisi ka ho, wo apna hi nuksan hain, dukh tera ho ya mera, dukh ki paribasha ek hai, ansu tere ho ya mere, ansuon ki bhasha ek hain

    A devotee sees his own loss in others' loss, experiences the same sorrow and tears as others.

5) Is nirankar ko bhakt hi to hain, jo jivan mein sabse zyaada ahmiyat deta hain. Sansar kahaan deta hain, agar nastikta ki taraf jayein, wo to iske astitva ko mante hi nahi.

   It is a devotee who gives utmost importance to the Formless God, while the world doesn't give the same importance and also denies His existence.

[Divine Souls:4232] Re: seek advise on sewa

Dhannirankar ji!!

First and formost thing for us to do as a gursikh is to do Ardas in
the holy feet of Babaji so that we all can do selfless sewa and Babaji
accept that sewa.(parwaan kar Lein)

It is said that charity begins at home. There are instances where in a
mahapurush goes to satsang does every kind of sewa but as soon as he
comes back home he forgets that other members of the family are also
gusikhs.

We can convey the message of selfless service to our partner with our
actions. If my wife is coming from work it is my duty to provide
helping hand in cleaning utensils/ preparing food, taking care of kids
etc. That way my spouse wil be convinced that he is not only serving
saints in satsang but considering his parents/ siblings/ kids as
saints as well . He is giving similar respect to them.

"hadd se badkar pyar ka dawa nafrat ko dawat deta hai..."

My spouse can object if I am not spending time with him/ her , not
giving due respect to him / her and giving all my attention to saints
in sangat. This will spoil the relationship. One has to maintain a
proper balance. And for this one may have to sacrifice ones comforts
for sometime. E.g if i wants to do sewa by writing articles for Sant
Nirankari, I may have to get up early when everyone is sleeping and do
this sewa without disturbing anyone. This way I am able to do sewa and
family members will also not complain. If I do this for sometime
without complains they all will appriciate and will request to do this
in the evening itself so that I don't have to compromise on my sleep.

"Duniya vich apna ghar bhi hai jis vich kuch dil vasde ne, kul alam di
khushhali layi ghar to shuruaat zaruri hai"

Babaji in his Vichars in Toronto bhawan said that " those who are
standing and waiting are also serving"

May Babaji bless us allwith selfless sewa simaran and satsang.

Regards
Sanjeev

[Divine Souls:4231] Re: seek advise on sewa

Dear Gurdeep Ji,

Vivek Ji has explained it very well. In continuation to him, I would like to add.

We have taken five principles and fourth says Grahasth Avastha.

In earlier ages Rishi Munni use to do Tapasaya and today Baba Ji has. Blessed us with Grahasth Tapasaya.

This is his tapsaya and in grahasath avastha he has to do Bhakti.

Baba Ji has given us Nirankar and we have to win every body"s heart and if we feel sad we can pray to Nirankar to bless us.

As mentioned below our intention should be pure rest leave on Nirankar he will make sure when n where he wants us to do sewa.

Let us pray to All Mighty to blss all of us with his Sewa, Simran & Satsang.

Baksh lena

Dhan Nirankar Jee

Subject: [Divine Souls:4229] Re: seek advise on sewa

Gurdip Ji,

"Sadh di sewa wo kare jis to aap karawe ae", this is the simple reply to your friend's worries. Nirankar/Satguru is the one who chooses the person, place and time, i do not have any intelligence to be of any use to the lord almighty. Having said that, there are plenty of people more deserving, more intelligent, more responsible than what i can accomplish. But if He chooses me than i shall be able to do the sewa as per His desire, with His blessings only.

An important aspect to keep in mind while rendering any type of sewa anywhere is the intention behind it. If my intentions are noble and pure than even if i am not able to justify myself with the desired actions, i am fine. There is a blood donation camp organised once a year at the bhawan, there are many saints who want to donate blood but are not able to do so because of less iron content in the body, past medical history or because of  travel outside the country. The intentions are there but they can not justify the same with the actions because of some reasons. The satguru accepts them because the intentions are right. On the other hand, even if i am rendering some sewa and i am expecting gains in return, that would all go waste.

Charity begins at home, as i write this, i am introspecting my ownself. On occasions i have overlooked my own family and looked for sewa somewhere else, where i could have done a lot of it in my own house. The friend is doing a very important sewa of bringing his spouse to sangat. That itself is huge, but I can become complacent and take people for granted that are close to me. I start looking at my own convenience and forget the real purpose of sewa. The best thing to do is to surrender to nirankar and ask for blessings to be able to do sewa as per His plans and not according to my own convenience. If i can do this, i am sure my lord master will present me with many opportunities to render my services to Him, in the way acceptable to Him.

Love, Vivek

please advise.
he goes to satsang. he has a keen desire and passion to do sewa in
many forms. but says his spouse doesn't support him amd so his focus
is not maintained. on the contrary experiences spouse acting as a
speed breaker on what he proposes giving him a bumpy ride leaving him
dissatisfied. his spouse attends satsang too. all he wants is his
spouse not object if he wishes to do sewa as service gives him bliss.
he is keeping his cool but sad.
i feel those couples who both have the same understanding of the gian
will not face this issue. where the understanding is not same can
cause conflicts. advise/prayers will help. thanks, Gurdip.

[Divine Souls:4230] Re: seek advise on sewa

Dhan Nirankar ji.A saint has to be a role model.Sewa is important but peace at home is more important. Our dedication begins from home.I would try to understand concerns of my spouse,give her preference's do not think sewa is the reason for not coprating.Females wants that their partner gives first priority to them.I am sure full cop ration will be given.

[Divine Souls:4224] Avtar Vani verse 45

THOU FORMLESS ONE [45]

The more a man is clever, the more the death frightens him;
The more he treads the path of self-effort, the more he feels thirsty.
The fire that is burning in the heart cannot be calmed by the waters of rivers;
The journey to the divine destination  cannot be finished by one's own wisdom.
O'man, the death will not listen to you, it will completely smash your body;
If at all the death accepts anything, it will be the Name of God.
If we remember the Name of formless One-Nirankar, Happiness comes and the sorrow goes;
Avtar says God can be perceived only if we seek the shelter of the True Master.

IK TU HI NIRANKAR [45]

Jinna siana hove banda, ona maut drandi ey;
Jion Jion Painda kardi karani, pias vi vadhadi jandi ey.
ag na dil di thandi hove, dariawan de pani ton;
Painda ghar da muk na sakke hargiz mat siani ton.
Maut ne teri ik nahin manani, hud gode aa bhannegi;
Jekar maut kadi kujh manni, nam hari da mannegi.
Nirankar da nam je laiye, sukh aonda dukh janda ey;
Avtar guru di sharani jaiye, tan ih nazrin anda ey.

4th ANNUAL STATE LEVEL ENGLISH MEDIUM SAMAGAM ORGANISED AT LUDHIANA ON OCTOBER 10, 2009 IN THE PRESENCE OF REV. H.S. CHAWLA JI ( ZONAL INCHARGE, LUDHIANA)

Dhan Nirankar ji,

Saints on the way back to their places were filled with great motivation for the EMS plans in future.

 It gives me an immense pleasure to share with you all the proceedings of Samagam and I had tried to share each and every point so that the saints, who could not attend the samagam, may feel like attending it. Saints, the samagam was scheduled on October 10th  from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Participating Cities

Ludhiana, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Patiala, Mandi Gobindgarh, Khanna, , Bhatinda, Hoshiarpur, Pathankot, Kapurthala,

Proceedings of samagam-

1. The samagam began with the recitation of hymns from Holy Avtar Bani .

   In the meantime, Rev. Saint H.S. Chawla ji arrived at the samagam.

2. To welcome Rev. Saints and all the other saints from various cities, saints from Ludhiana presented a welcome song with the Lyrics "Welcome you, Welcome you welcome you all, we welcome you. Your holy presence blooming buds of soul, Elation in the air, Elated one and all.  The song was really very melodious and was giving warm welcome to all.

3. Then came Sister Sujata Ji from Ludhiana , with her views on "EGO" , in which she very well explained the full form  of EGO says " EDGING GOD OUT " means where there is EGO, God can't stay there . Giving example of digit ZERO, which remains at back and give power and support to those who are weak, still remains egoless, she thrown light on being humble and co-operative.

4. After that Sis. Sangeeta from Jalandhar came with her speech on the topic "Global warming and role of a Saint "in which she explained that A saint is pious and humble being and tries to remove the pollution both internally and externally. She further added that like for earth Ozone layer is the protective shield, Similarly for a saint, Love and humility is the ozone layer and one should be concerned about both pollution of environment and pollution of mind.

Presenting her ideas, she told that When the last tree will be cut, last river poisoned and last heart polluted, man will then understand that He can't eat his Money.
