I don't think anyone ever cheats Baba ji as the Almighty Formless Nirankar that He embodies is All Knowing and Omnipresent. We only really cheat ourselves per say. Troubled times come in all our lives, it is the natural ebb and flow of existence and of all creation. It is however, in these times, we can become quite vulnerable and therefore desperately seek out guidance from others. This is a great thing, but please remember that whomever you go to for answers will give you guidance accordingly. Since you asked a Saint that you refer to as non- Nirankari, then he can only guide you as a Non-nirankari saint. This is something we need to be aware of.
What he has shared is right according to his study or practise. However, if you notice, he has said one thing that truly is the cause of all healing and change, and that is to do Simran ( or do whatever prayer you normally do). In essence, it is the simran that is going to help you and do all the sorting out for you in your situation. In my opinion, the feeding cow stipulation is only to increase your faith and give you some control that you feel you are lacking. You are told only to do that so that you feel like you are in charge and have taken matters in your own hands and that something has been done to help you because you can see it...it is tangible. However, please remember that it is going to be your BELEIF that the matter has been settled and that God is looking after it that will bring the change in your life. You can do this without feeding the cow and by just doing simran alone.
You can turn Simran into something tangible. You can turn every word of Simran into something you can feel. When you do simran, please feel every line and believe in every word that you are uttering. Surrender your situation to Almighty, share with Him what you are going through and then do simran. While doing simran, believe in every word that you are saying and that Almighty is hearing you. Take some time then to sit in silence and feel His presence.
Simran is all powerful and complete in and of itself. Our Satguru is complete and the prayer He has bestowed upon His saints is complete as well. It has been gifted to us so that we can keep in touch with Almighty Nirankar at all times without any conditions. But simran will do nothing if you don't believe in it completely. It goes with anything.
I humbly request that you try doing Simran with all your heart and believe that Almighty has heard you. Then, surrender it to Him and live your life with full trust and confidence that the matter is being taken care of by the highest power there is. Only Nirankar can handle things in the best way for us. Please give Almighty a chance to show you what He can do for you. He is here for you now and will always be for forever.
