Dhan Nirankar Ji. First of all let us ask this that who is Baba Ji? Baba Ji is Nirankar Himself in "sakar" form. So we know Baba Ji as God. Now is it possible to cheat God? Think- you can lie to anyone in the world, but can you ever lie to yourself? Satguru has taught us by giving us gyaan that we are all part of this one and only God. God is all seeing, all prevading, you know he is everywhere and silently obeserves all. Baba Ji is yes in a human form in front of us, however we have to remember he is not just a body he is Nirankar Himself. We as humans become attached to the bodily form of him and chase after that form and worry, what will Baba Ji think? Will I hurt Baba Ji's feelings? Think of Baba Ji, does it ever seem that his "feelings" are hurt? He is always the same, loving and calm. He is Nirankar! His qualities are no different from that of Nirankar. Hence you can never "cheat" Baba Ji. Our Satguru is as is stated--Satguru, the true master. You can never cheat the truth!
Saints the question should be what would Baba Ji do? In other words, take the knowledge of Gyaan given to you and apply it to your problem. You see that the problem disappears. Nirankar is like the eraser that removes all the problems and leaves the white paper. Gyaan has given you Nirankar, Nirankar is bigger than any problem in the world, Nirankar is the whole world/universe. As mahapursh have stated: "Don't tell God how big your problems are, tell your problems how big is your God."
When we recieved this gyaan we were fortuante that no "restrictions" were ever put on us, you can speak to whomever you please, only thing we must keep in mind is our 5 "praans" and we must behave as a human (ensaan). The saint you spoke to did not give you any bad advice. All the things he has told you to do are good deeds. As we all know that Simran is very important and necessary in life, but also it is a good deed to feed a cow. Nothing bad will happen if you feed a cow, you will not cheat anyone, you will simply be doing a good deed. We are told to do good deeds because by doing a good deed your mind is put at ease. We have to do Sewa, Simran and Satsang because this helps us stay in link with Nirankar. By doing Sewa you are giving up your pride and ego. Where there is pride or ego, there the link with Nirankar gets broken. Similarly we have learned that we do Simran we say "Tuhi Nirankar,.." by saying Tuhi we remove the me from the statement, all pride and ego is forgotten. When we go to Satsang we hear other saints, get inspired by them and shed light on our own mistakes.
Doing Simran while fully aknowledging this Nirankar will put your mind at ease. The strength of Simran is the strongest, Simran provides one with a direct link with this Nirankar. Sometimes things happen in our life that sway us from understanding this. We think -we are doing Simran but why is the situation not changing? At that time maaya engulfs us and causes us to forget the truth, then we are not in link with Nirankar, we start looking for other solutions to our problems. Hence we may turn to others in hopes of simply solving our problems because we think that by doing Simran nothing is happening.
Saints, I hope that dasi has been able to answer your question, I know the reply was long and I aplogize for any mistakes I may have made.
Much Love & Regards,
Dasi Brahama
