I would like to s experience and opinion which needs to be considered till the point where you find your own answers or solutions. One time or another in our lives we all have witnessed,experienced these things. Son or Daughter seen Father,Grand father or any other male figure being dominating while growing up. the way it has been happening or accepted for years it literally has become some sort of family or social traditions. Son has been grown up being the way he is and Only Daughter has always been to put up with everything. only one biggest reason of this behavioral difference in my opinion being driven by expectations. Son will carry our name forward (what am i going to loss if my name doesn't go forward after realizing my true existence as Nirankar? what name am i talking about on which i am keeping all my perishable existence on?) will raise or take care of us when we will grow old. some how or another knowingly or unknowingly. this story in so many ways or words goes on...
This is more likely worldly issue rather religious or spiritual issue which directly impact women's spiritual journey. time has evolved women's situation has been better over years you might been aware of (Sati Pratha=Burnt alive " Please have a look at this article http://www.articlesbase.com/religion-articles/sati-pratha-in-hinduism-true-face-198194.html ) Dowery is not that big of concern as it was in 70 or 80s as much as world is being educated they are being aware by questioning or trying to know ins and outs of things. this difference will change as well when women will support another women and men will stand by understanding and explaining them reasons of things.. How many times we have tried to understand someone's opposition thoughts with open heart and mind without being offensive and defensive? it's really unfortunate for women the way she is being treated after being a sustainer , nurturer. When do we get to live for ourselves if we keep living for society i don't mean to go against them for everything..
men and women are biologically different they wired differently. we both have our pros and cons which we all are aware of. i think if we didn't have our own traits or weakness GOD needed to put himself in different forms which is known as Men and Women.. we balance each other out nicely to cherish this blissful life. For example Men is being driven by pride of being man and women is being driven by jealousy..(How nice it would be if we able to rise above this) so many small illusionary collapse become explosive. which will swell men's head and leave women wounded... due to the sensitivity it takes women so long to heal her self.
I am not being offensive towards anyone..Just sharing the weakness which i have experienced growing up which made me feel sorry for things what i have learnt hard way is "You can't make someone stand untill they want to stand"
There is a change in the world as you speak it's not at that rapid which you would like to see you it will get there someday. Healthy discussions, sharing your heart or intentions with your nears and dears, having a common mutual respect as a human being or Saint (Body/Gender is not being called a saint it's that enlightened soul which has been blessed with Guru's Grace)
Awareness and actions changes the world which we all are being part of with Nirankar's grace.
There is so much more to write on this aspect but would like to seek your blessings for now will continue if needed..
These are my thoughts and concerns and things i have learnt. Please feel free to let me know if i have said anything appropriate..
At the end would like to pray to Nirankar "May Nirankar bring Equality and Worthiness among and beyond genders through heart and actions"
