THOU FORMLESS ONE [28]
The one who wears the cloak of contentment and firm faith, and depends upon Thy shelter;
The true saint lives very much in this world, but remains aloft like a lotus (in water).
He eats and drinks in Thee, he dwells in Thee;
He is as pure as the water of the Ganga river and to him none is a friend or foe.
He does not distinguish between a Hindu and a Muslim, a Sikh and a Christian;
He is lofty, yet considers himself lowly; he is not proud of his wisdom.
True saints are adorned with the ornaments of contentment, peace and equable vision;
And the greatest ornament of theirs is to remain always submitted to the divine will.
The devotee saints are my friends and dwell always with me;
Avtar says, I bow unto these saints million times.

Sabar sidak da chola hove, tera ek sahara rahe,
Sadhu rah ke duniya andar, vaang kamal de nayara rahe,
Tere andar khave peeve, tere andar dera rahe,
Ganga vangu nirmal hove, na tera na mera rahe,
Na hindu na musalman jaane, bhed na sikh isayi da,
Uchha hoke neevan samjhe, maan nahin danayi da,
Sabar shanti te sam-drishti, santjana da gehna ae,
Santjana da wada jevar, bhane andar rehna ae,
Sant hari de mitar mere, kol subah te sham mere,
Kahe avtar inha santan noo, lakhaan hi parnam mere….
