You have put a very beautiful subject for discussion.
Almost every day we come across lot of people hitting their heads and saying 'You cannot fight with your destiny. This is what I was destined to or that is what God has decided for me". Also why I did not get that and lot more.
Here there is very thin line which differentiates between an enlightened soul (With the blessing of a True Master)and a soul still awaiting to be enlightened.
Souls which are not yet enlightened with God knowledge trust this world as reality. They try to achieve worldly pleasures considering these will give them true happiness and pleasures. They work hard to achieve these worldly pleasures to with a desire to achieve everlasting peace. When due to some reason they are not able to achieve their goals or not able to get the things they have aspired in desired time frame, then it is called kismet or destiny. Many a times we don't realize that every action (Done by us) has an equal and opposite reaction. Be it physical or mental. Many a times we get few things in our life which are generated through reactions of our thoughts and deeds in the past. Without realizing real cause, we call it Kismat or Destiny.
Now for God realized souls, there is nothing like Kismat. It is all Rehmat of Satguru who has bestowed God knowledge on them. Once oneself realizes that everything has been generated by Nirankar and can be destroyed at any moment. HE also understand with the grace of true master, that the whole physical creations which the world understands as reality is a myth only and only reality is Nirankar which Was there, Is there and Will remain even when this whole creations are destroyed. He is never attached to these creations but he is always attached to Nirankar. HE understands that the whole world is running under a divine wish and whatever we are getting in life is because Nirankar has decided to give the same accordingly. He never thinks that I should be getting better or worse. Whatever he is getting is the best at any moment he can get. That is why a God realized soul is always in a condition of gratitude to his true master and Nirankar. Once you realize this eternal truth, there is nothing like Kismat or destiny because every enlightened soul has achieved its destiny. He understands and passes the time granted to him in this life according to the wishes of True Master without any question mark in his thoughts and deeds. He is always surrendered to his true master and lives a blissful life. All his deeds are surrendered to Nirankar and his true master. Before doing anything, he thinks whether the action I am going to take is accordingly to teachings of my Satguru or not. This way he is free from results of all his deeds. So for him there is nothing like Kismat (Since he is not doing anything on his own, under his ego, so he neither aspire nor get anything out of his deeds) or destiny (He knows the difference between Myth and reality and he knows his real destiny).
