dhan nirankar ji i'll try to answer your question with what works for me. everything is driven by a cause and effect relationship. similar for anger/short temper.sometimes we get angry for the mere reason of not being able to accept the other person's viewpoint and sometimes when the other person is genuinely wrong. although anger can be justified in the second case but it doesn't serve a useful purpose. let's take the first case... 1. when we are angry ( inspite of being wrong ourselves) anger is evidently illogcal. so we should not have a problem shunning it. after all why should we do anything that has no logic in it. the second case 2. when somebody ill treats us and we get angry. in this situation there are two reasons for giving up on anger: a.) anger radiates negative energy which goes to the person whom it is directed at and to the one who is angry. why do i want negative energy ? i dont want it. anger robs my peace. so leave anger ....do it for yourself. remember " when you are good to others you are best to yourself" . so give up on anger .. be good to the others and best to yourself. b) anybody who ill treats us is in mental crisis. he/ she needs peace and love. giving him/her anger wont help in making them realize. its like this... a weak plant needs support.. may be a stick to grow...we dont go and kick a weak plant. the person who has been hurtful is like that weak plant... he needs love and peace not anger. so lets give him/her what he needs. ( and this can be done by praying for that person) these reasons work for me . i hope they work for you. seeking forgiveness for mistakes. when someone is angry with us lets respond with the answer and not anger regards garima. |
