Though unlimited water is hidden underneath the earth;
Though the secret of fire is hidden in the every straw of wood.
Unless the water is manifest, the thirst cannot be quenched;
Unless the fire is manifest, it cannot be put to any use.
A mere dream-boat cannot take a group of people across the stream;
Unless the lamp is lit the darkness can not be dispelled.
Unless the food is there in front, the appetite cannot be satiated;
Avtar says, one cannot know God, unless He manifests Himself in human form.
