Harsimran Ji, There is nothing wrong with "seeking". Life is a never ending learning process and we all keep improving on our thoughts every day, every moment. The most important is the direction and knowledge about what is to be seeked. Once you are on the right path, there is never enough. In school, after getting admission, in every class i learned something new. I was taught "a for apple" in pre-kg, sentence formation in second class, writing a paragraph and essays in subsequent classes. At a certain stage, i was expected to know basic things, so in seventh standard i could not have gone back to my teacher and asked why is "a for apple" always, why not something else. At the same time i did not stop learning new words everyday because i was always ready to seek. I am now enjoying writing emails and stories because i learnt it in my school and now i keep implementing the knowledge in my daily routine. I am a big fan of Sachin Tendulkar, according to him, the day he stops seeking new ways to score, he will stop playing. There is always enough to learn, to hit the same delivery in a different way every time. He did not stop once he became the greatest, he keeps learning, from everything that he does, whether its a duck, a hundred or a more. The biggest motivation is to keep learning, implementing the knowledge and keep improving. A gursikh will always be seeking. The only way to stay humble is to be on the path of learning. The day i would feel that i know everything, i will be miles away from fulfilling the teachings of my satguru. Seeking is the stepping stone in a gursikh's life, the beauty is to implement the teachings in daily routine. Till the time i have that open minded approach to learn, i will keep improving. The path to spitituality starts from divine knowledge, the key is to stay on it and keep seeking greater heights. If gyan is the highest form of knowledge, than implementing it is the essence of spirituality. Love, Vivek --- On Wed, 6/2/10, Flavour Harsimran <radical_system@hotmail.com> wrote:
