ORGANISED AT LUDHIANA
ON MAY 15, 2010
IN THE PRESENCE OF REV.NIRANJAN SINGH JI, IAS (RETD).

Saints, recently the 5th State Level English Medium Samagam was organized in Ludhiana on 15th May, 2010, in which 10 cities from Punjab came with a great zeal and enthusiasm. Approximately 300 saints came and it was a huge gathering at the bhawan for samagam. Each and every item was unique in itself. Saints from Ludhiana tried to bring forward the new faces for the participation in samagam and they helped them to perform well. Saints on the way back to their places were filled with great motivation for the EMS plans in future.
All the cities were allotted a topic before hand and all the items were very topic specific.
It gives me an immense pleasure to share with you all the proceedings of Samagam and I had tried to share each and every point so that the saints, who could not attend the samagam, may feel like attending it. Saints, the samagam was scheduled on May15th, from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Ludhiana, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Sangrur, Mandi Gobindgarh, Malerkotla, Rajpura, Bhatinda, Hoshiarpur, Pathankot and Kapurthala
Proceedings of samagam-
The samagam began with the recitation of hymns from Holy Avtar Bani by Sister Jyoti ji.
1. The first item of the Samagam was a speech delivered by Brother Amitesh Ji from Ludhiana who presented his views on the topic "Satguru's laws of Life" He very well presented the way of life a devotee should live.
2. Next was a song presented by Saints from Malerkotla from the book "Harmony" with the lyrics as "O Father O Master of All, we are children, innocent and small. The song was very beautifully presented by saints.
In the meantime, Rev. Saint Niranjan Singh ji arrived at the samagam.
3. To welcome Rev. Saints and all the other saints from various cities, saints from Ludhiana presented a welcome song with the Lyrics " Welcome you, You are the ocean of Blessings, Thanx for the blessings, Thanx for your coming ". The song was really very melodious and was giving warm welcome to all.
4. Then came Sis. Amritpal Ji from Sangrur , with her views on Importance of God Realisation and True Master
5. It was now turn of Saints from Rajpura, who presented Shabad Avtar Bani in very melodious and soft way. This Shabad bound the audience and made the environment peaceful.
6. After that Sister Amrita from Mandi Gobindgarh presented her views in the form of speech on the topic "Faith and Intelligence". She very well depicted that Faith and Intelligence can't exist together. One needs to have firm faith on Lord Master with no signs of intelligence.
7. Now were on stage saints from Bhatinda with their fusion item based on the topic " God and Egoism cannot co-exist " First part of item was a short play depicting the effects of Ego on a human and then there was a song with the Lyrics " My dear mind has no sense of authorship" . This item shared the message of bringing back the saints who have left the mission due to some reason.
8. Dr. Harpreet from Ludhiana shared her views on one of the message of Babaji "Purity in thoughts ". She said that when there will be purity in mind, there will be purity in actions and it will lead to a better society and a sense of universal oneness. One's mind should be imbibed with clean and pure thoughts with feelings of Love, Compassion and Mercy.
9. Saints from Hoshiarpur came on stage with their play on the topic " Families who pray together , stay together " The play showed the environment of 2 different families who by their acts proved that the families who attend congregation regularly and have love and respect for each other, they stay together forever.
10. Saints from Kapurthala presented a group song based on the topic of "Universal Oneness" The song was sung with the message of " We are one family" This group sang the song in the most beautiful and presentable manner with the meaningful message to share.
11. It was now turn of Sister Swati from Pathankot who shared her views on the topic "Tolerance and Tranquillity". She very well explained that the Tolerance is the towering trait of the devotee and with this quality a devotee can his make life blissful .
12. Saints from Jalandhar presented a group song on the Topic "Goodwill is Love in action "The lyrics of the song were "What you give is what you get, such is the rule the Lord has set "The song was sung in very loving way.
13. Brother Lalit from Ludhiana recited a self composed poem with the idea of "Peace Not Pieces" The poem very well justified its topic and was appreciated a lot.
14. A play was then enacted by saints of Amritsar, where they made clear concept of "Contentment is greater than kingdom ". The play with the example of King Alexandera very well explained that There is sufficient for human's need but not for human's greed. Human eyes have became bigger than stomach but where there is contentment, there is rest and peace in mind. The play left no words for praise.
15. Now came, Sister Kavita from Ludhiana and shared her views on the topic "Like colours, humanity also flourishes when blended together". The message of unity in diversity was presented and very well explained that good music can't be presented by playing a single note and no rainbow looks beautiful with single colour , everything looks beautiful when comes in diversity.
16. The last item of the samagam was song sung by the saints of Ludhiana and the lyrics were "Harmony is for everyone, Love for all and hate for none , the same God dwells in every being, so come together be one ." The song was presenting the message of Living in harmony.
17. Rev. Jagdish Ram Ji (Incharge EMS, Ludhiana) appreciated the efforts of all the saints for arranging the samagam and wished them with more energy and spirit for the future.
18. In the end Rev.H.S.Chawla ji (Zonal Incharge, Ludhiana) welcomed all the saints and expressed his gratitude towards all for their presence. He also congratulated all saints for their hard work and efforts for the management of the samagam. A token of love was also presented to Rev. Niranjan Singh Ji during this speech.
Discourses
In the discourses, Rev. Niranjan Singh Ji explained that the knowing the spirit is only Spirituality. The one who understands that the all the creation has emerged from one creator and will merge in the same creator in the end, is truly spiritual. Addressing the congregation, he laid stress on the importance of English language in today's era and encouraged the youth to attend English congregations and also to read the literature of the mission. He asked them to study the mission and imbibe the qualities as expected in the devotee. He encouraged the youth to come in forefront and contribute in taking the mission to each and every corner of the world. In the end, he congratulated and blessed all the saints for their efforts and hard work for arranging the samagam.
The samagam ended with the recitation of prayer. All the Cities were gifted with the Trophies as Token of appreciation and Love.
This evening was made musical by Re. Lalit and Aditya Dildar Ji .
