When, God, When? (what I've learned from Joyce Meyer) Have you ever felt frustrated because you knew that God could do what you wanted Him to do and yet you couldn't figure out why He wasn't doing it for you?  Sometimes God puts desires in our heart but He hides the exact timing of when they will manifest and the exact way that He's going to lead us. So, why doesn't God just tell us "when" - when that breakthrough will come? Sometimes it's better we don't know "when" because if we knew how long we are going to have to wait for something we might give up too soon. Anybody can act right when they get instant gratification and don't have to wait for anything. The Bible says we receive the promises of God through faith and patience. When patience is fully developed- people are wanting nothing and are totally satisfied. To a patient person, the manifestation of a desire is no longer important. It's what's in the heart. And that spiritual maturity comes only when we have to wait and trust God without knowing all the answers. God is smarter than you are. His timing will be just right. His way of getting there will be just right. Decide that you will be content to enjoy life during the entire process. Set your mind to totally trust God with everything that happens in your life.
