[Divine Souls:3985] Re: a question

Rev Saints,

Dhan Nirankar ji.

Rev Indu -

Reproducing here excerpts from vichar's of HH Babaji in Patiala on 25 Jun 09 in the congregation held to honor the life of Rev Bhabhi ji - wife of Bhai Sahib Amar Singh Ji of Patiala. She recently merged with Nirankar. They describe clearly how all sewa is important.

"He was accompanied by his life-partner in the contribution which he made for others' welfare.  'Bhabhiji' moved in-step with Bhai Sahib Amar Singh Ji and gave full co-operation.  Though 'Bhabhiji' could not be seen like many other prominent speakers who get a chance again and again to express their views in front of the mike or those who fulfill prominent other responsibilities, yet she played a prominent role.  So prominent are not those alone who are prominently seen again and again, even those are prominent who imbibe a feeling to make such a positive contribution; even such ones have a lofty status.  Along with living her own life in such a manner she also made a constant effort to give similar feelings to others."

As for mukti dependent on sewa type and volume I would say that it is.

Sewa allows us to unleash the divine aspect in us. Das often points to nature as god in action and all acts of nature are selfless and out of pure love. They are the same for everyone and not discriminating. For example the sun shines equally for everyone. The trees provide shade to everyone who sit under them.

Sewa has to be done with a sense of thankfulness to god almighty. As sewa allows us to manifest our richness. Even those who have not received the divine wisdom feel bad if they need help from anyone. But the one who is helping feels proud of it for a long time to come.

Once wisdom has dawned we perceive Nirankar as the core of our being, and we are able to bring out thankfulness in our thoughts while doing a sewa. Thankfulness is for giving us the ability to help others and fulfilling us that we do not need help from others. Slowly these thoughts become our nature and we become identified with the source.

Mukti is same as self realization as in mukti we identify with the permanent and loose attachment to the impermanent. Sewa helps us in solidifying this identification.

Motive of the sewa fosters the right thought and volume of sewa reinforces it regularly. By volume I mean the duration and not the quantity. Quantity depends on the skills lord almighty has given you. In some they may be higher and in some they may be less. As HH often mentions in his vichars about the sewa of the "Gilheri" during the Ram Setu contribution. Lord Ram considered it with equal importance as was the sewa of highly capable strong vanar sena was.

In fact if we remember Nirankar at all time as act with the knowledge that all our energies, skills and capacity is due to his grace we are constantly into sewa. That is what Lord Shri Krishna mentions in chapter 4.

Das can maybe go ahead and say that sewa is simran in action if it is backed with a feeling of thankfulness and surrender to Nirankar.

Dust of your holy feet,

Ashish Ganda
