THOU FORMLESS ONE 78

Unless one perceives God, the mind is not satisfied, and there can be no love unless the mind is satisfied;

There is no devotion (to God) without love, and without devotion it is not possible to transcend the ocean of materialism

Only True Master makes one perceive God, only True Master satisfies the mind and only True Master teaches how to love God;

One just cannot have devotion to God without True Master, and if one does so, he is bound to repent.

If a person realizes God, the Eternal One, from the True Master;

Avtar says, the True Master by his benevolent grace redeems the seeker in a trice.

When others look at your life, what do they see? Does your daily life win the respect of others? As believers, we are our Sat-Guru's representatives in the earth. We are called to a higher standard. The way we live our lives should bring glory to our beloved Sat-Guru and, God.   

Notice this verse doesn't say, "Go out of your way to do something major so that everyone will respect you." It doesn't say, "Win a gold medal or any other worldly prize so that people will glorify our God." No, it says that your daily life should win the respect of others. That simply means always taking the high road and living a life of excellence. It means doing the right thing even when no one is looking. It means finding common ground in order to be a peacemaker. It means going out with an attitude of faith and thanksgiving.

Remember, we will become like whoever we spend the most time with. If we are committed to spending time with the teachings of our beloved Sat-Guru and, God   every day, we'll develop His character. We'll win the respect of outsiders and bring glory to our beloved Sat-Guru and God.  

 

Let us Ask Him To-gather

Our beloved Sat-Guru and, God, I dedicate every area of my mind, will, and emotions to you today. Help me live my daily life as an example of You. Show me anything in my life that is displeasing to You. Let my daily life win the respect of others and let everything I do bring glory to You.
