[Divine Souls:4430] Avtar Vani Verse-71

TU HI NIRANKAR [71]

Jod dae jo tar dilan de, dunia da samjho kartar;
Ihda sadqe dunia jeevem dunia da samjho datar.
Ihde man vish sabh di chinta, ih karda rakhwali ey;
Ese ton mang khavan sare, koi na janda khali ey.
Man mere kar yad es di, jihda ik lafani ey;
ape ap hai karta dharta, zat ihda lasani ey.
Mehr ihdi na hove jekar, banda nahin kujh kar sakda;
lakhan zor laga lae bhaven, lamm nahin koi sar sakda.
Bajh hari ton he man mere, kamm na kujh vi avega;
Kahe Avtar charan gur parse, oho mukti pavega.

THOU FORMLESS ONE [71]

He who links the heart with God, take him as the creator of the world;
The world lives by his grace, take him as the benevolent lord of the world.
He cares for all and he protect everybody;
All beg and eat from him and none goes empty handed.
O' my mind, remember him who is imperihable;
He is all-powerful and his entity is unique.
Without his kind grace, man cannot do anything;
Nothing can be accomplished even if one makes countless efforts.
O' my mind, nothing except God will come to your rescue;
Avtar says, the one who humbly bows at the holy feet of the True Master Shall attain salvation.

[Divine Souls:4425] When you were hungry and thirsty, I was there...

Dearest Saints, Dhan Nirankar

There is a Christian hymn in which a person questions God by asking "When I was hungry and thirsty, were you there". There are several other testing scenarios in this hymn where the person asks God again, "Were you there".

The hymn concludes when 'God' replies by answering such questions and saying "When you were hungry and thirsty, I was there. And the creed and the colour and the name don't matter, I was there".

You may also have come across a similar example where a person questions God asking Him if He was with them throughout the challenging times in life. 'God' replies by saying that when you could only see two footprints in the snow, it was not because I was not with you. The only reason that you did not see four footprints was because I carried you throughout those difficult times.

Saints, recently I came across some incidents which indicate to me that Satguru Baba Ji's actions are no different from the pious actions mentioned above.

On Saturday the 30th of January 2009, the funeral of Sister Shakuntala Singhani Ji, daughter-in-law of Chacha Partap Singh Ji, took place in the city of Birmingham. The following day, saints from across the UK, across Europe and further gathered to pay homage and celebrate the life of Rev. Santren Chadda Ji.

During this weekend, Rev. Sandeep Khinda Ji shared some priceless thoughts about how Baba Ji Himself insisted in informing Chachi Ji, mother-in-law of the late Shakuntala Ji, about the news. Chachi Ji began to feel the loss of her daughter-in-law and naturally questioned Baba Ji about what would happen to her son and his children now. Baba Ji, looking directly into Chachi's eyes and holding her arms as if to provide her with support and comfort said, "Mei Hu Na". By informing Chachi Ji that "I Am Here" and that personally, Baba Ji would take care of so much, Baba Ji provided an unrivalled sense of strength and reassurance.

Some years ago my much loved uncle passed away. My cousin who was only 16 at the time, seemed impossible to console. It was as if his whole world had crumbled in front of our eyes yet we could do nothing. We felt helpless.

It was only after meeting Baba Ji however, did he seem to gain a renewed sense of energy and a will to move on. When we asked him what had been said in the room, he said that Baba Ji comforted him and said "Don't worry about anything. From now on I am your father".

Such grace, such selflessness and such unconditional love still leave me in awe of the One who I have been so fortunate to know and realise.

Whenever, wherever we are in need let us never forget that He is there for us. When everything around us seems so dark; when there is no light at the end of the tunnel; when all seems doomed, let us remember such examples and realise that even that which seems impossible, is possible.

A devotee said at the Delhi samagam this year that whilst we find it difficult to live for ourselves that there is the One who lives for us all.

May we always remain grateful and connected with such a supreme force.

Humbly,

Lucky

[Divine Souls:4426] Avtar Bani Verse 70

THOU FORMLESS ONE [70]

Just as a pillar holds the load of the roof of a building;

Man's mind gets all support from the True Master.

Just as a burning lamp dispels the darkness;

Likewise a person's soul gets illumined on seeing the True Master.

Just as the light shows the path to the man in darkness;

Avtar says, if one meets the True Saint, he can reveal God to him in no time.

TU HI NIRANKAR [70]

Jyon ik khamba apne sir te chat da bhojh uthanda ae,

Tyon bandey da mann gur paaso kul saharey panda ae,

Jyon balde hoye Deepak rahi door hanera ho janda ae,

Tyon banda gur darshan kar ke rooh apni chamkanda ae,

Jyon bande noo nahere andar chanan raah te paa denda ae,

Kahe avtar mile je saadhu rabb noo jhat dikhla denda ae….

[Divine Souls:4427] bhakti kya hai ?

saints dnj,
      With your blessings i got the opputunity to become a drop of the ocean of 43rd maharashtra samagam.
      what i realised there was that  BABA JI IS GIVING A MESSAGE THAT JUST TO BECOME  MORE LIKE ME .
      He had shown there how to live a joyful life along with full devotion. he taught us that " ki bhakti band kamre me baith ke ishwar ki ibadat ka naam nahi hai , balki  har lamhe ko khushi se jeete hue iska shukria karte hue ka naam hai"

    with this saints i would like to thank baba ji by saying "  KI NA JAANE TUJHE MERI KAUN SI KHATA BHA GAYI , KI HAR KHUSHI MAANGNE SE PEHLE DAAMAN ME AA GAYI "

[Divine Souls:4433] Condolences - Rev Vilayat Rai Ji

Dhan Nirankar ji.

The news of passing away of Rev Vilayatrai ji, zonal i/c of Pune and convener of Maharashtra Nirankari Sant Samagam, sent shock waves throughout the Nirankari jagat. He had been associated with this Mission for more than four decades.

Without caring his failing health, he continued to work tirelessly devoting all his energies towards the preparation and arrangements for the 43rd Nirankari samagam. He did not care to rest and this strain culminated in a stroke that led to his admission in hospital just a few days prior to the commencement of the samagam. Even from his hospital bed he was issuing directives for even the minor arrangements of the samagam that were pending.

During samagam HH appreciated and acknowledged his contribution and devotion of Rev Vilayatrai ji and said, though his body lay in the hospital, his heart and soul were very much present at the samagam.
With the demise of Rev Vilayat Rai ji, Nirankari Mission has lost a good administrator, a pious, humble and ardent devotee of Nirankari Babaji. He handled any job assigned to him efficiently and religiously. Whosoever came into his contact remained his fan and friend forever. The void left by Rev Vilayat Rai ji's departure will be hard to fill and all of us shall miss his loving presence.

We pray to Almighty Nirankar to give strength to the bereaved family to bear this repairable loss gracefully and with devotion. And contribute actively towards the activities of the Missaion just as their patriarch Rev Vilayat Rai ji did.
